Asparagus Parmesan

2 packages frozen asparagus spears or 1  pound fresh asparagus,trimmed & cut into 1” pieces
1 cup well buttered bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2/3 to 1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Cook asparagus until tender and drain. Place in casserole. Melt butter and heat until it turns golden brown. Blend in mayonnaise, seasonings and lemon juice and pour over asparagus. Sprinkle bread crumbs over top, then cheese. Bake in 375° oven 10 or 15 minutes or until brown.
